Australian author, Karen Mace grew up in Tasmania, and has been in love with reading for as long as she can remember. Karen has been an avid reader of Women’s Fiction since her mother gave her Jane Eyre when she was recovering from chicken pox in sixth grade. Karen has scribbled in a notebook for years writing short stories but never considered writing a novel until someone in a Write Here Now meeting mentioned NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). That year, Karen finished a first draft of a manuscript that remains in a drawer. A couple of years later she participated again and completed another manuscript; this one became her first published novel, Running Home.
Now Karen writes about love, loss, family, faith, and community. Her debut novel, Running Home, book one in the Paradise Cove Series, was released in 2023, and the second, Starting Over, will be released in November 2024.
