In everything give thanks …

Every day I like to express gratitude for the many blessings in my life. Those of you who know me have shared in my morning walk at times through photos I’ve shared with you 😊 A few days when I set out the sky was grey, even black in some places. Across the river there was a hint of sun above the mountains but the threat of a storm hung heavily in the air. And then … just at the entrance to the lake I saw it … As I leaned in to take a photo to share this promise of spring with you a bird trilled a joyful song from somewhere in the tree behind me.

The thunder continued to roll around a very dark sky, hailstones carpeted the ground around our house and I gave thanks for a warm and safe space and for the tiny narcissus that smiled at me that morning 😃
